CALDICOT SCHOOL PTFA

Registered Charity No:

                                             www.PTFA@caldicotschool.com

A very warm welcome to our PTFA web page!  This is the bit where you get to find out more about us.  We are a voluntary fundraising body who help organise and support events, working in partnership with the school, for the benefit of all the pupils and are currently in the process of registering our PTFA as a charity.  This will enable us to qualify for Gift Aid, allowing us to reclaim the tax paid on donations made to us, which will increase their value by 28%.

As well as raising money, we aim to provide parents and teachers with an opportunity to exchange views, work together and to develop mutual trust and confidence.  We meet monthly and newcomers are always welcome to come along to ask questions, voice opinions and pass on any fundraising ideas.  Alternatively, please feel free to email us with your comments and ideas.

Caldicot School PTFA belongs to the National Confederation of Parent Teacher Associations (NCPTA) a national charity that supports PTAs.  We pay an annual membership fee, which provides lots of benefits, including a comprehensive insurance package, advice on fundraising and running a PTA and an extensive list of PTA information and resources.  NCPTA also has a range of parental and education information sheets which you can access via the NCPTA website www.ncpta.org.uk.  To gain entry to the site you will need our membership number, 44376 and our school postcode, NP26 5XA.  We hope you will find this useful.
