Welcome to Caldicot School

Welsh Version

It is with great pride that I introduce our school Website to you, at a time of innovation and opportunity as we embark on a new direction for the 21st century.

This Website will provide you with practical information about the school and, more importantly, what we stand for at Caldicot. We are building on the platform of achievement and success, whilst looking to the future as we prepare our pupils to take their place as adults in a changing world.

At Caldicot we are seeking to enrich the experiences of our pupils through a dynamic education based on traditional values coupled with innovative learning experiences, provided by experienced and caring staff committed to the achievement of all pupils. Setting the highest standard in all areas of school life is crucial to us, centred around learning, behaviour, appearance, attendance and punctuality, so that we maintain an orderly and positive atmosphere where pupils and staff can flourish through mutual respect for all.

I am very proud to be the head teacher of Caldicot. As a staff we are committed to the care of the individual and the encouragement of excellence in all aspects of school life. Pupil achievement is our priority, realised by an inclusive school that caters for the needs of all, providing a rewarding experience, based on sound teaching and learning, leading to a range of career opportunities for all young people.

I look forward to working with you for the success of our pupils and the school.

Headteacher
