Admissions

Caldicot School usually admits up to 100-120 places to students in Year 12. Current students at school are given priority of admission, providing they meet entry requirements. However, students from other schools in the wider area may also apply for a place with us.

Entry Requirements/Pathways

4 A Levels & WBQ 7 x A*-C grades in full course GCSE subjects, which include at least 5 or more B grades (courses equivalent to GCSE do not count)

3 A Levels & WBQ

3 A Levels & WBQ

Most AS/A2 subjects have an entry requirement of at least a C grade at GCSE. However, to study English, mathematics, economics (in mathematics) and science there is a minimum B grade entry requirement.

All students are expected to follow the Welsh Baccalaureate qualification in both Year 12/13.
