Examinations and Support

Please note this centre does not take external candidates

Public examinations typically start at 8:45am in the morning and at 1:00pm in the afternoon.  Pupils must, however, check their start times on their Exam Timetables. Pupils need to arrive 15 minutes before the examination is due to start.  Pupil examination timetables will detail start times and locations.

Key Stage 4 Support Programme

Throughout Key Stage 4, a programme of After School Revision is available with free transport always provided on Tuesdays at 4.30pm, and from February half-term also on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Upgrade Programme details are given out to pupils and parents, and put on this page.

During Half Term breaks and the Easter holidays revision sessions are also arranged with free transport available.

During examinations, Immersion Days and/or Immersion Mornings of intense revision are normally arranged before examinations.

Details of revision and immersion sessions are posted on this page and emailed out to pupils/parents as and when they are arranged.  Please contact Mr Downs for more information.

GCSE Examinations

Individual pupil timetables are emailed to pupils and contacts.  Paper copies can be requested from the office.  A noticeboard outside reception will detail exams and venues on the day (in case of any last minute changes).

If you are going to be away on results day please provide the school office with a stamped addressed envelope so that results can be posted to you, or email one of the exams team so that we can email the results to you.

ENQUIRIES ABOUT RESULTS

After you have received your results, you have a period of time in which you can request your paper back, and/or request a review of marking.

You can get a form from the main office, which details deadlines and fees (they are unique to every season). A copy of this form is also put in your results envelope.

Please contact the exam office for more information -  [email protected] or [email protected]
