For property that is found to be returned to its rightful owner, it is important that items are labelled with the pupil name and form. Any property found unlabelled may be held initially by a teacher, before being passed to the Welfare Room in Castle Building.
On losing an item, pupils should check with the relevant teacher first before going to the Welfare Room to look in the lost property bin. Parents are welcome any day between 3pm and 4pm to take a look in the Welfare Room for missing items. Periodically, lost property is put on display for pupils and parents to view and collect. This is communicated via Form Tutors, email, or our website.
Lost property is eventually donated to a local charity shop for onward selling if it has been held in the Welfare Room for an extended period. The amount of lost property handed in makes it impossible to store indefinitely.
