Welcome

AlunIt is my pleasure and privilege to welcome you to Caldicot School. 

At Caldicot, we strive to ensure each student achieves their full potential academically; develops the necessary skills to successful in the world of work; and grows to become a good citizen, by living out the values of honesty; tolerance; respect; and responsibility. We are committed to providing all students with high quality learning experiences, a strong pastoral system and an extensive range of sporting, cultural, physical and extra-curricular activities.

Caldicot is an 11-18 co-education school with over 1400 students in Monmouthshire. We are located between Chepstow and Newport and the school is easily accessible via the M4 corridor and on the northern side of the Severn Estuary. Our students, as you will see yourself should you visit us, are (on the whole!) happy, hard-working and positive about the school. In addition, we have a committed team of staff who are enthusiastic and passionate about supporting the young people in our care.

We seek to have the highest expectations of all of our students and, working with families and other stakeholders, we place great importance on working in partnership  to deliver our ambitions.
