Brilliant sunshine for a brilliant first day of skiing.Our beginners made fantastic progress, with many starting to tackle gradual turns. More experienced skiers travelled up the mountain and got some good runs in too. Looking forward to resuming lessons tomorrow pic.twitter.com/Jy2hzHWT44

Yesterday we visited the Gulfoss Waterfalls and got to witness an active Geyser. We had lunch in a beautiful family run tomato greenhouse followed by a drive across tectonic plate boundaries into the rift valley at Thingvellir National Park. In Memoriam: Chris Morgan

Chris MorganIt is with deepest sadness that we learned of the passing of a former colleague, Chris Morgan, following a battle with illness. Chris joined Caldicot School in March 1996 as a teaching assistant. She was extremely devoted to the students she worked with, and went above and beyond to help as many students as possible. She frequently worked in the Learning Centre, through choice, to offer additional sessions for students after-school.

Family was very important to Chris. She was a loving wife to Ken and mother to Laura. When Laura successfully training to become a vet, this was something Chris was incredibly proud of. Chris was also a very proud and loving grandmother. Our community offers our prayers and thoughts for our friend and colleague Chris, and for her family at this very sad time.

Prayer for Eternal Rest
Eternal rest grant unto Chris, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon her. May she rest in Your divine peace. Amen
